I booked 13 rooms here in March 2012 and couldn't believe how much the rooms, restaurant had improved over our previous stay. Beds were really comfortable and the comforters made for a good night's sleep. Food in the restaurant was very good, service was quick and friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting Antigonish. I stayed 3 nights midweek and found the staff very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean (apparently recently refurbished) and the bed was very comfortable. I had a main floor room and could park right in front of it. Positives would be the staff and cleanliness, negatives would be a little noise from the neighbors and the price is... More

I stayed here 2 nights on business. Check in quick and easy, friendly desk staff willing to offer info on area and directions. I had a ground room floor with an exterior door and it was nice to park right outside my door and carry my stuff in. Never heard a peep from my neighbors. My room was clean and... More

The floors were dirty (chocolate mm's under the heater), dried tooth paste on the sink, hair in the bath tub and prices are horrible! Would not recommend this hotel and thought about sleeping in the car for the night if it wasn't winter. More

The room overall was clean and the staff friendly, but a bad O'rourke kept emanating from the toilet. This smell appeared to be coming from gases coming out of the toilet, as I noticed bubbles in the water. I forgot to close the bathroom door one evening and it smelled all over the room the next morning. I told the... More

Thank you for your valuable feedback and bringing this to our attention. This odor was due to a leaky gasket on the toilette, our maintenance has replaced the gasket so this problem does not happen again in the future. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Management More

We stayed here in the off season and showed up without a reservation in hand. The front lobby was very accommodating and found us a room in the "drive up" part of their inn. Our room had obviously been renovated within the last year or so. New king bed, very comfy for sleeping with new linens, leather chairs, brand new... More

We had a long drive from Wolfville on a very rainy day in August and stayed at the Maritime Inn to visit St. FX University (which is magnificent). The location was easy to find within the picturesque town of Antingonish. There are lots of amenities within walking distance - i.e. banks, pharmacy, library, etc. We had a lovely large room... More

Not being at all familiar with Antigonish, we had researched several places for our stay and finally decided on the Maritime Inn. We were very glad we did! Our newly renovated room was on the ground floor with parking outside the door. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, with a very comfortable king size bed. We ate several meals at... More

I had a very long trip to make to Antigonish from Alberta for a friend's wedding and I'm very glad I decided to stay here. I had been travelling for over 14 hours by the time I arrived. It was very hot and humid outside and to my relief the a/c had already been turned on for me upon opening... More

Apart from the annoying featherweight shower curtain that blows in against you, the cheap soap that dries out your skin, and the in-room coffee maker that only makes extremely weak coffee, it was okay. The receptionist when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the restaurant as there was a new place in town called the... More
