We stayed in the "carriage house" behind the main house. We had direct access to the room which was a good size with a queen and a single bed and a large closet. Staff of the inn were very friendly and helpful without exception. Breakfasts were generous, if uninspired. (The hot breakfast featured scrambled eggs every day with only the... more

It’s our fist time to have come to Wolfville. We came to see the tidal bore. This B&B is a beautiful Victorian style house. The room we stayed at was a carriage house with private entrance and is independent from the main house. I found the door a bit hard to open and close. It did cross my mind that... more

Location - Wolfville NS is a beautiful college town...but also great wine country. I was there in the fall with harvest having begun and did a tour of Domaine de Grand Pré Winery...it was beautiful, and I enjoyed the tour and the wine. The Inn - Absolutely stunning. I had stayed to a tight budget up to this point, and... more

Victoria`s Historic Inn is absolutely amazing the Inn is georgeous and the staff are wonderful . The main house is a mansion dated back to 1893 and carries the charm and allegance as it must have been back over 100 years ago . The the detail of the wood work to the grand staircase and stained glass feature had me... more

Arguably the best place to stay in Wolfville. There was a warm, friendly greeting and a tour of this Victorian mansion. The woodwork and fine furnishings within this nicely restored 1893 heritage property were breathtaking. Our room was in the Carriage house (separate building) and was so small we were tripping over our luggage at every turn. Finally a B&B... more

This inn is as advertised: a lovely restored Victorian in a pretty neighborhood. I stayed on the ground floor of the carriage house, in the Sunflower room. It's nicely furnished and has both a TV and telephone. But -- contrary to what its name implies! -- the room is very dark. Even on a bright August day, I had to... more

Of all our 12 days in Nova Scotia, this was the weak link in our accommodations. Not bad, just too stuffed with stuff in the room. Felt too cluttered for my personal comfort level. We stayed 3 nights in the Webster room. A/C was SUPER efficient, which was GREAT in the abnormal hot spell that descended on this area. Breakfasts... more

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B in Wolfville. We stayed in the Nautical Room in the Carriage House. The decor was beautiful and the room was laid out very nicely. The breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend this B&B. Since we were only around 3 km from Grand Pre, we ate dinner at Le Caveau Restaurant at Grand... more

Victoria's Historic Inn is a magnificent property. It has been lovingly restored by caring owners and staff, and it seems that every detail, both the physical facilities and the service of the staff, is superb. The main house is beautifully and tastefully furnished with period antiques. Of particular note is the absolutely wonderful millwork throughout the house --- certainly the... more
