I stayed at MacKenzies on and off for the better part of a month while working in Shelburne. I stayed in both the upstairs suite and the yellow cottage. Both were beautiful! The upstairs suite had a amazing jacuzzi tub and full kitchen. The yellow cottage definitely seemed to be the newest, had tons of space, a deck that looked... More

Stayed a few days here in April and everything about the place was just as described. A very nice place to stay with all the things necessary for a home away from home. Stayed in one of the cottages. Very convenient to town. Jim and Sandra are lovely people and will make you feel welcome. More

My husband is originally from Shelburne. We have stayed at Mackenzie's many times. I travel around the province on business and plan a stay at Mackenzie's whenever possible. There are a variety of accommodations; motel units, luxury suites and cottages. We usually stay in the suites but last night chose a cottage. Wonderful! The owners travel and it shows in... More

Our bantam hockey team spent two evenings at Mackenzie's and the Wildwood Motel, and enjoyed the hospitality and kind manner of our hosts. With 17 hungry boys in for breakfast each morning MacKenzie's delivered to a tee, and made us feel very welcome in Shelburne. The cottages were spacious, noise levels kept to a reasonable level, and housekeeping kept ahead... More

New laminate in most rooms, not one complaint from other parents were heard. Motel is 5 min walk from cottages and had no noise complaints from anyone. My son's hockey team stayed at the MacKenzie's Motel and Cottages while travelling in the area to play hockey in Barrington Passage. The rooms, cottages and suites were very comfortable and the hospitality was amazing. Sandra and Jim made us all feel at home. Unfortunately there was not enough room for all of our team and Jim and Sandra recently... More

We were driving into Shelbourne late at night. No reservations or place to stay. Stopped at one motel. No vacancies, but recommended MacKenzie's Motel and Cottages just down the main road leading into Shelbourne. What great fortune that was. We stayed in one of the suites. Knotty pine, queen bed with a draped headboard, fire place, and in the large... More
