We had a good time with Jim and Carl who served as gracious host. The bed and breakfast is located in a very convenient place in downtown Saint John and is in within easy walking distance of most major eating establishments downtown. The breakfasts were adequate, fresh fruit with either french toast or a quiche. The amounts were rather limited... more

Mahogany Manor is a charming bed and breakfast, in a convenient location for exploring Saint John. The beds are very comfortable with pillow top mattresses and the bathrooms are newly renovated. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and clearly proud of Saint John. They gave useful recommendations on all aspects of our visit. more

Carl and Jim are absolutely wonderful hosts. They welcomed us and made us feel at home. They recommended restaurants to eat at and even called to book the reservation for us. I was on business in Saint John for three days. Jim and Carl made me feel welcome from my 1am arrival (!) to the thoughtfully laid out breakfast awaiting me in the kitchen before I had to leave at 4:30 am to get to the airport. I loved talking with both of them and learning the history of the house... more

A while back I spent three weeks in Saint John, New Brunswick on business. I was fortunate to discover the Mahogany Manor, a recently renovated heritage house in a historic residential neighborhood a few blocks from downtown Saint John.
