Pool closed at 8pm and didn't open until 9am. The room smelled old and musty. Reading another review from Fran318 she said her room was smelly as well and management responded on here that they wanted to advise that the rooms had been updated but ours certainly wasn't and I flagged her response as inappropriate.

Great location easy from the highway one turn.. nice size room / tv , a bite to eat in the morning with one of the best cups of coffee at any place I've stayed " cups could be bigger " hehe .. all around good deal ! Will stay again

The Howard Johnson in Moncton is really the old Beacon Light, nothing new, same old ugly bed covers, dirty carpets and smelly rooms. The breakfast that was included, consisted of bread, muffin, juice or coffee.

We investigated customer's concerns right away and found no such smell but to make the Guest happy we offered her upgraded suite which they refused.
