The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful. The hotel is pet friendly. Stayed in a convenient room on the ground floor. Can be quite loud because located in busy area. Clean, comfy king sized bed. Have stayed here over the years with family and ourselves. We like the location, as it is one block from Olive Garden and Red Lobster, and another block to the Polo Park Mall, and a bit further to the movie theatre, along with several other restaurants in close vicinity. Stayed at this hotel late November 2011. The hotel presented well when you enter. Spacious lobby, clean and quick service checking in. The room was average and could have been cleaned better. We stayed here for a night's getaway and it was great! Friendly staff, good location, freshly remodelled rooms, clean room, quiet night, and great pool area. Would definately recommend this Wpg hotel to visiting friends and family. More

The Viscout is in a great location amenity-wise, beside Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Polo Park Mall. The lobby is fantastically renovated. The west side elevators could use some assistance as they only held two people with luggage. The halls were somewhat dirty and could have used a regular once-over with a vaccuum.
