We arrived in Churchill on Feb 21st excited about our adventurous trip to see the Aurora Borealis, and departed on the 25th sad that we were leaving such good friends behind. Jen and Gerald, through hard and intelligent effort, give you the appearance that they were born to be quality B&B hosts, and perhaps they were. In the limited amount... More

Gerald and Jenafor's hospitality was just incredible! We stayed 3 nights and felt like we were the house guests of friends, not customers at a B&B. Gerald met our flight at the airport – he arrived before I even had time to find a phone and call. The evening we arrived, they invited us to join them for dinner at... More

I visited Church in Mid November, 2011, and one of my wants was to take a dog sled ride. Well, what an afternoon, the sun was out but it was so cold. Picked up on time, and travelled to the site where all the excitement was to commence. Made so welcome by Jenifor and Gerald, what better hosts could one... More

Truly a wonderful experience in Churchill - from the warm welcome by Jenafor and Gerald, the B&B owners and "hosts with the most", to breakfasts to write home about - our stay at BlueSky was the highlight of our trip. Honestly. We were a mixed-group of adults (including two sets of couples); all aged 28 to 63. Here is a... More

This was such a welcoming family home we instantly felt we could have stayed much longer than our 4 nights. Not only were the breakfasts superb, the help and advice were just as good. Little touches like personalised welcome signs on bedroom doors, postcards and signed books all help to remember a wonderful stay. There is no doubting how much... More

This place is the most overwhelmingly wonderful place to stay! Gerald and Jenafor are the most welcoming hosts who make everyone feel welome as friends. The B&B is cosey and immaculately clean. Learning about the way of life the North is a wonderful experience. The beautiful dogs and cart/sleigh rides complete a dream of a lifetime. Their no cull policy... More

The lodging options in Churchill are limited and modest. A handful of motel-quality inns line the town streets with their rooms often reserved only for large affluent tour companies bringing in large affluent tourists. Opt, instead, for a more homey bed and breakfast like I did – - staying two nights at Bluesky Bed & Sled. Here I found an... More

Staying with Gerald and Jenafor is like staying with old friends. A warm and cozy house with lovely spacious rooms. At first we were guarded about sharing a bathroom but you are so welcomed here you truly feel like you are part of the family. I wouldn't think twice about staying again. The breakfasts are unique and delicious. We went... More

I stayed at Blue Sky B&B near the end of whale season and had a great time. Gerald and Jenafor are wonderful hosts and will involve you as much or as little as you like in the nuances of Churchill. While there, I got to: pick (and eat!) wild blueberries, hike around with Jenafor and a couple of the dogs... More
