We stayed at the Rosewood this January and it was great! Very nice, well appointed room with a small refrig and microwave for snacks. The free wi-fi was an unexpected bonus! Breakfasts were amazing and more than we could usually eat. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, especially when we had a problem with ferry transportation the day we... More

We spent one week at the Rosewood Victoria Inn in October of 2011. The hotel was warm and welcoming upon arrival, but our room at the top of the stairs was more cozy second hand chic than the antiques that furnished the public rooms. Our room was nonetheless clean and functional, until we discovered that when entering the downstairs foyer,... More

We stayed at the Rosewood Victoria Inn in June & found this Inn & surrounding area delightful! All colors of roses were blooming along a white picket fence in the front yard. We had a top floor room with a small porch & refrigerator & microwave. The room was immaculate, nice comfortable bed, & small couch. Our front windows looked... More

The staff at the Rosewood were exceptional! They were eager to do anything to make our stay more enjoyable. The Inn is in a great location - just a few blocks away from the wharf, museum and other sights in Victoria. Hot breakfast was served in a darling dining area with tables for 4 and 2 with lovely china. Our... More

I am a regular visitor to the Rosewood and have been for years. There are a number of things that are important for the visitor to understand: 1. This is a combination of two older buildings joined together with a common eating area. It is expected that internal and external (street) noise will be an issue for many given its... More

This is our fourth stay here. The time before this was quite problematic but.... this time was great -again. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary this time so it had to be good. We were given the "Venetian" - "Honeymoon Suite". It is a very spacious and nicely decorated room with a huge jacuzzi tub - very nice. Everything was... More

Only bummer was the mandatory $200 for breakfasts we didn't want, since there are plenty of places to eat nearby. RCI had told me it was optional. We did eat there once, but neither of us liked mushroom omelets. The food was well prepared and served in a tea room between the 2 Edwardian houses in 2 shifts. 8am &... More

Their web-site advertises beautifully appointed rooms with period furniture -- suggesting an upscale bed & breakfast experience. WHAT A JOKE!!! Our room was below ground level, about 12' x 14' with discarded furniture from around 1970. The only 2 chairs had lost their stuffing, so sitting on them caused you to lose circulation in the back of your legs. The... More

We are truly sorry you were not satisfied with your experience. Most of our guests find that the age of Rosewood Victoria Inn is part of its charm. Each room has its own unique theme and colour scheme. The room that you stayed in before being upgraded was on the ground floor and approximately the same size as the other... More

Went for our 25th honeymoon. Upon arrival charged us $300.00 for meals although we were told they were included when we booked. They said it was RCI's fault but when I got back and checked with RCI they said meals were at their Rosewoods discretion and they had nothing to do with the meal charges. My wife is on a... More

We had a room with beautiful wallpaper, and shiny hardwood floors and a fireplace, but it was so dark in there we could not read. We requested exra light, and they brought us a small lamp, but it also had a very dim bulb and no table to sit it on. They did a great job on breakfast service, but... More
