Very Very dissapointed. Nice lobby, but everything else fails. Room-dusty, short in lamp. Bathroom-hot tap is actually cold, and cold tap is hot-really dangerous. Nice pool-too bad you need to be a polar bear to swim in it-not heated. No room service cards in room-restaurant is independant. Reservation not as promised, traffic noise unbearable, room stuffy, construction next door with workers constantly looking in your window. Promised ocean view instead got 1 tree and construction. We stayed in Victoria for two nights in August. We like to be able to walk into town in the evenings and the Queen Victoria proved to be a good hotel in a great location. We always "eat out" for dinner but tried the restaurant for breakfast which was good value and good quality more

The hotel is across the street from the Royal BC Museum and just a 5-minute walk from the Parliament House. The room furniture was older but comfortable and the hotel had a nice pool with hot tub. The staff was friendly enough and parking was inexpensive. more

We went for a trip to Victoria for one night and chose QVHotel, was an ok place to stay, very clean and big rooms, stayed with friends. Hotel good but staff not friendly at all. Don't think we would stay there again. more
