Spent Mother's Day with my family overnight. We arrived Sunday and we got the parking spot right in front of the hotel...for free because it's Sunday!:) Walking distance to St. Andrew's Cathedral, malls and restaurants. But the main reason we stayed @this hotel is because of the reviews I've read and true enough, it did live up to my expectations.... More

Pros: Restaurant on first level, superb breakfast, European feel/flavor, location is a short walk to the water and to most places, opportunities to save (for each night you 'go green' and forego room service, you save. and drink/meal tickets provided to us at check-in for free drink + pastry each day, or $3 off a meal), very large bathroom in-room;... I think the location is really good for a non-rainy day. It is very nice walking around the Victoria charming streets, so if you do not mind to walk an extra block or two (well, more like 5) from the heart of the Victoria Inner Harbour to your hotel, this is an excellent alternative for your stay. Parking lot is... More

Stayed here for a short vacation and wanted something a walkable distance to most of the attractions downtown and the harbour. We stayed on the fourth floor facing Douglas Street. The room was a good size, clean and had all the usual amenites minus a tub, which was okay as we usually prefer showers anyway. Glad we brought earplugs though... More

It is a hidden gem. This hotel is within walking distance from Inner Harbor with excellent customer service. The hotel staff, especially Ms. Karina and Michael, were very courteous, friendly and helpful giving us a lot of suggestions, information about where to go and best place to dine. Last the hotel's Cafe Veneto has a very good breakfast - very... More

Recently refurbished, as soon as we walked in we were pleased with our choice for a three night stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. If you 'go green' and refuse any housekeeping, you will receive 10CD each day off the bill, which enabled us to have a free cooked breakfast on our last morning. The other mornings the coffee... My partner and I booked online through Expedia and managed to get great prices by booking three months in advance. We stayed during the beginning of May for 9 days. I had called ahead of time two or three times as I needed an extra night to coincide with our flight's arrival. As we arrived at the front desk after... More

A nice alternative for lodging in Victoria. I do agree that street noise may be an issue for some along with squeaky door hinges (ours, neighbors, bathroom) so earplugs provided are a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious but it took over an hour to be served one hot dish, and it seems on busy weekends the hardworking and courteous... More

Located easily within walking distance of the Inner Harbour and a variety of attractions such as the Empress Hotel, Chinatown and the BC Royal Museum, but just outside of the tourist hub, Hotel Rialto is in a perfect location! We even caught the city bus to Butchart Gardens just outside the hotel and across the street (only $2.50 each way).... More

We loved this hotel. It is in a great neighborhood, convenient to everything; has a great front desk team, especially Bianca; and is beautiful and well-maintained. We felt like valued guests from the moment we checked in. We were upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite, which was absolutely terrific. The breakfast vouchers and free cheese plate were great. Of course, once... More
