We had an amazing stay at the Comfort Hotel (3020 Blanshard Street) in Victoria. Stayed in the executive tower. Room and hotel was very clean, staff very accommodating. Small work out facility is new and well kept. Continental breakfast was great! more

The portion of the property referred to as the "annex" or "separate building" is actually a motel with outside-facing doors overlooking a central parking lot that resembles a strip mall. Nowhere is this stated on the hotel website. The "motel" is constructed in such a way that it overhangs underground parking. Rooms numbered in the 150's are situated right at... more

This hotel definitely needs updating. Decor is old and faded. Bathroom has a sorry-looking shower curtain, and our bath plugged up which meant second in the shower had to wait for 2" of water to clear. Towels provided were harsh - hey housekeeping, try using fabric softener! And I wasn't too thrilled, upon arriving, to find a dirty towel in... more

Smelly rooms... and staff not in a hurry to help.. Ask for more hangers (only 3 in room) and didn't get a reply, 1 phone not working in the room. I was hopîng to change my reservation from 5 to 4 nights due to change in work schedule... and they would not change it... (I guess they know once you... more

When we arrived, Megan, a front desk trainee was very nice and helpful giving good restaurant suggestions for our 24th anniversary. Our room was not in the main building and was street level next to the noisy, busy street. I called the front desk and Megan had a different room for us within 5 minutes in the main building. Much... more

The Front Desk/Booking---We booked a King suite on the internet for... more

When we stayed there the hotel was being rehabbed (at least I hope so). The baseboards were ripped up, carpeting had tears in it, etc. We are a Holiday Inn Priorty Members and stayed in a number of Holiday Inn's over the years and was dismayed to find on our arrival (after 4:00 p.m.) the check in clerk pushing Whale... more

Stayed the end of June 2008 for 2 nights Stayed in the main building of the hotel. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and the corridors had just been re-decorated. It was just a pity the ageing bath/shower in the bathroom had not been replaced when the room was refurbished. Although the bath/shower were dated, no... more
