A wonderful hotel surrounded by restaurants, bars, entertainment choices sure to please. Nicely located within walking distance of mostly everything. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, a sound sleep is easy to find. Morning breakfast was enjoyable. Costs fair and reasonable.

The hotel lobby, restaurant and my rooms were always clean. The food was delicious and they provided excellent service. They care about their guests and are proactive in attending to their guests. They are very accommodating 10/10 would recommend.

Very cool hotel in a trendy / lively neighborhood. The stay was very memorable as met some fellow Belgians who also stayed here. Definitely will stay again next trip to Vancouver. Pros: - Very friendly staff, especially front-desk Priscilla; Living Room restaurant staff Faith, a tall guy with really suave hair, and the bartender from Saskatchewan; the French-speaking Basement club bartender and all the doormen. - The Smashburger was extremely tasty. The fries were of top quality (which is hard to find outside of Belgium). - Really nice shower in the room and great toiletries. - Walking distance to most major things in Vancouver. Neighborhood also has decent food & bar options. It is not boring like the Waterfront area. Cons: - Rooms are very compact. They are more European sized rather than North American sized. - Noise can be a problem. Had some party people on the floor who made too much noise, as well as using the very loud ice machine at 4 in the morning.

We have stayed here twice now and both times have been wonderful. This past weekend we attended a concert at the Commodore Ballroom and were within walking distance. I was also celebrating a birthday and had dinner downstairs, our great server brought a complimentary glass of champagne! Food was great. The room was just what we needed for our overnight visit. We will be visiting again on our next concert weekend, walking distance to The Commodore, the Orpheum, BC Place and Roger’s Arena. Please tell me where I can buy the body lotion in the room? It smells of peppermint!

Room itself is OK but area despite close to shops seems run down. Our room - 502 - is noisy- constant hum of what I assume is an air con unit. So bad the windows vibrate. Asked to move but offered a room one floor down in the exact same location with a view of corrugated steel wall and the noise was even louder. Pretty poor experience so far

This is a well-located (Nelson & Granville) hotel where we were able to walk or take public transit from easily. The staff whether it be front desk, cleaners or Living Room, were all incredibly professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms were funky and well laid out. The hotel is a real treasure and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This is a recently refurbished botique hotel. Everything felt clean and new. Enjoyed the in room Nespresso machine and other amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had heard complaints of noise from the club downstairs and meighborhood, but I personally had no issues with noise from my 4th floor room despite being a light sleeper. I appreciated but did not get to take advantage of the free bicycle rental and other amenities. I also appreciated the cool bar/lounge and complimentary beverage. The parking was convenient (surface lot immediately adjacent to building) and reasonable, but I felt the hours were a little too inflexible. I was told that my car had to be out by 1pm after checkout. Most other hotels allow for a little more time in parking the day of check out. I did not get as much time to enjoy the area after checkout as I would have liked.

We had the best experience at this hotel!! Every single detail was thought out -whether we needed to borrow an umbrella to walk to dinner or borrow bikes, they had it all. The kindest staff ever and always willing to go above and beyond (I wish I remembered specific names but honestly it was everyone)! So so accommodating and provided awesome recommendations. We also loved the access to the restaurant/bar and we didn't hear any music or noise from our room on the 5th floor. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious. We loved the cute details and decor in both the lobby and room. Not to mention the location was great and we were walking distance to all restaurants/activities we wanted to try. I could not recommend this hotel more!! We will be coming back and recommending to all of our friends.

I can’t fault the staff who were really helpful throughout our stay but the hotel itself has issues. The main one being the noise. Despite being on the top floor the noise was really bad. We arrived on a weekend and unknown to us there is a nightclub located in the basement of the hotel. Just as we were dropping of to sleep the nightclub opened and didn’t close till the early hours of the morning. Even with earplugs in the noise was terrible. If we had of known about the nightclub we’d never of stayed here. The nightclub isn’t open every night but even then there is still considerable noise from the street as it’s a really busy area. The room itself was adequate and although the hotel isn’t in a very nice area of downtown Vancouver it is well located in terms of accessing the various tourist attractions we wanted to visit We didn’t take advantage of the free bicycles the hotel provides but thought that was a nice touch.
