I read about this East Vancouver place in the Globe and Mail and booked two nights over the weekend for a company trip. I have to say, Ron H's review is the exact opposite of mine. When I booked, the staff made sure I understood it was a music venue and let me know the room I requested was above... More

“it's a joke that this place is considered a hotel”

It's a music venue. We traveled all day today and arrived exhausted. I'm in bed getting blasted by music, and it's going until 2 am according to front desk. Writing with earplugs in, they do nothing - whole room is shaking. This is a live venue with some room above it. Do NOT stay here if you need to sleep.... More

This hotel is like the Walmart of the hotel world (Wal-mart, Wal-dorf, I see a theme here). One-stop shopping at an affordable price. There are 2 restaurants and a Tiki-themed bar, as well as a music space downstairs. The rooms are clean and simple, with a fun retro vibe. Bathrooms are tiled pink and go with that retro vibe. Bed...
