This hotel has unbeatable location downtown, but rooms need renovation. Apartments are big and well equipped for a longer stay. I'm sure there's better in Vancouver. DO TRY the float planes they're great!

We loved the hotel. Very comfy and clean. The concierge was helpful. Parking extra but worth it. We didn't get the wifi but it was available all over in coffee shops. The location could not have been more perfect. It is right in the middle of all the activity so we walked everywhere. We appreciated the hotel umbrellas.

Prime location in Vancouver on Burrard Street. Walking distance to everything in Downtown including Stanley Park. Public transit is just outside the door as well as taxi service. The Sutton Place is a nice hotel—but it is not a 5 star hotel. The service is excellent and that's what must have earned it the rating; great valet and concierge. Very nice hotel in a lovely City. Perfect situation for sight seeing. Lovely big rooms. Staff very pleasant and also very helpful in helping tourists to get their way about the city. Nothing too much trouble for them.

The hotel room was nice, but can't say the same with the experience of a follow up with the staff. They weren't all that friendly like I've received from other 4-5 star hotels. Of utmost importance to us, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all exceedingly friendly, cheerful and helpful. The in room amenties were very nice. Liked the stereo system, the iphone docking station, the flat screen, the Gilchrist and Soames toiletries, robes and our lovely 20th floor view. Although there were some things about this hotel that were only average, such as the rooms, I was totally impressed with the service and the food - I travel quite a bit and found their service and food beyond compare! They aim to please!
