Above average facility - especially for its age. Looks like recent renovations, but good clean rooms. I stayed on the 4th floor and found the room to be quiet (extra charge for going higher). I was there during SeaFest which was certainly one of the busiest - and loudest days of the year. All was fine - once I got... More

I prefer this hotel in Rupert because it is a concrete building which equals a good nights sleep! The rooms are not fancy but are comfortable. I find some rooms are more updated than others. The higher end hotels in Rupert are wood buildings and therefore are not QUIET! And for Canadians...Tim Horton's is just across the road!!!

Traveling for business has created certain 'Will Nots' when booking a hotel. For instance, I will not book a hotel with a bar attached to it. I will not book a hotel with a casino attached to it. This time due to a last minute change in my itinerary, I went against my self mandated rules and booked a hotel... More

I requested a queen room in the renovated upper floors and was very pleased with my room. It had a very comfy bed with quilts, a sofa, mini fridge and I believe a microwave. The room was very quiet, no view but certainly a very nice hotel for such a small town. The bathrooms were less updated, older tile and... More

I have stayed at the hotel 6 times in the last year. It has been renovated during that time and is now far superior to when it was part of the Coast chain. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.A very full continental breakfast includes waffles which you can cover with whipped cream and strawberries. Very sinful but very good.The... More

After being pleasantly surprised by the Prince Rupert Hotel, I booked again on my next trip here. This time I was blown away by their beautiful breakfast room and the food was great. You have to try the waffles. The breakfast room attendant informed me that they are adding pancakes, bacon/sausage and eggs very soon and the best part is... More

Just stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and I have to say good job. Very well appointed, comfortable and a great value. Room had a new 42 inch TV, fridge, microwave and DVD player. I will be visiting again.

We stayed for two nights, one week apart, either side of a wildlife cruise. Also had trouble locating the hotel on arrival, and respective service was awful. We'd been promised an upgrade in advance from the manager based on trip advisor reviews, but this didn't materialise, duty receptionist didn't know anything about it. We asked where we could eat as... More

I am very sorry you feel your expectations were not fulfilled. As per our conversation previous to arrival one upgrade was awarded and the other was offered if a cancellation was received, unfortunately that did not happen. I have refreshed our front desk about being more specific and helpful about advising the names of the restaurants in the area and... More

We ended up in on the second floor where the window is right above the door of the neighboring bar, very loud music from the live band went on until 2:30 in the morning. To start things off, getting off the ferry about 11pm, we couldn't find the hotel, and no one we stopped to ask knew where it was. Turns out the sign only said "Hotel" and left out the other part. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am sorry you had trouble finding the Hotel. Our address has not changed. As for the signage, after our separation from Coast we had to take the "Coast" part of our sign off. I agree with your frustration. Our replacement sign is on the way and will be... More
