Stayed at the Steamboat Mountain Chalets in April 2009. I booked directly with the property and took advantage of one of their specials of a free night when you stayed 2 nights there. Upon check in, the owner was great and provided alot of information about the place and where to go if anything was needed.

The cabin was nice and cosy and clean. Barbara, the owner, provided excellent service, even letting us use her washing machine after we had a very muddy day hiking.
It's a great location if you are going to Radium Hot Springs, rafting on the Kootenay, hiking in the area or even when driving from Kootenay to YoHo parks.
