We stayed here in January for a weekend in Red Deer. The room needed up dating it was cold and the hot tub was not working. Went north a km the next day and for the same price a room 100% better. More

Stopped at the Econo-Lodge in Red Deer, en-route to the Rockies. It looked like a cheaper hotel, which suited me fine as it was late at night and I just needed a place to sleep. Paid $107.01 for two people and a small dog (inc. taxes)...felt this was high for what was provided. The room was dingy/musty. I went to... More

We stayed in the older part of the motel, this was an economy trip, looks like they are making renovations. For a much newer Econo Lodge you might consider driving further south 10 minutes to the Econo Lodge in Innisfail. See my comments there. More

I am very unimpressed with this hotel...The front desk gives you a quote and then does not stick to it and charge you almost $100 more per week then they quote you and then argue with you that they never quoted you with that. More

A huge storm had come in on my drive back to edmonton and rather than fight the winds and hail, I decided to stop in Red Deer for the night. The Econolodge was the first hotel I saw. Got a non-smoking room for $80. Rooms were clean, bed was decent, and they had free wifi. Did the trick for one... More

Needed a place to crash for one night on way to Calgary. For $62/ night the price was right. Read previous review and yes the room was clean. Bathroom was spotless. We weren't quite sure if bed sheets were changed from previous guests. Long black hair on underside of pillow. Sheets seemed overly wrinkled as if they hadn't been changed,... More

This is a budget motel, so don't expect it to be fancy. The check in was fine, the room seemed clean and the bedding was in good shape. We reserved a non-smoking room, and there are not many at this place, so we were lucky to get it. They must use some whacky industrial strength air freshener though - because... More
