The bed was comfortable, (king size). The TV had a good selection of channels and was clear. The chairs were good, but a table would have been nice to have. There was a desk but you could not watch TV if you sat at it. There was a hair dryer, fridge, and coffee maker. An electric outlet was loose in... more

For those on a budget, this isn't too bad. It is very basic, but the rooms and beds are clean and have no bad smells. It is a cheap motel style room, the type you would normally pay $50 per night anywhere else, but remember, this is Jasper, so you will pay around CAD 170. Location is not too far... more

Jasper can be really expensive in the High Season, but the Maligne Lodge provides great value and can be enjoyed by the whole family. The Pool will be a hit with the kids and is a rarity amongst Jasper accommodations. The Room was clean and well maintained. My room had a small kitchen area which meant that if I was... more

We had a wonderful stay and very relaxing time at this hotel. It was more than we were expecting and not expensive to stay. The kids had a hoot in the pool. Thank you! more

This location is a litle to far out from the town, restaurants and main shopping area, it is a good 15-20 minute walk into town, however it provided a good standard of accommodation and facilities. There was a good restaurant attached to the hotel, where the staff were pleasant and very helpful. Whilst there is no swimming pool there is... more

Thought this would be a nice place to stay since we stayed at the Juniper in Banff the night prior. And I believe the Juniper is owned by the same company. To start the price is way to high for this late 70's Hotel. Like the description above there is no air conditioning other than a make shift stand alone... more

I guess I was expecting too much. This is a clean 70's motel. The rooms are not air conditioned so there is a giant portable one by the window which is really loud. Staff were friendly. more

We stayed in the cramped kitchenette suite. From the moment we walked in, we could smell the sour shower curtain. The stove and fridge are dormatory sized and dated. The table was nearly detached from the wall. The dishes were not clean. The room was dark and dingy. Outdoor jacuzzi ("strictly closed at 10pm") was still full of yahoos at... more
