Main hotel is nice for gathering, on the lower level there is a good family restaurant with pool tables and games, simple food but fine. Our room, a deluxe renovated suite was very disappointing. We stayed in one of the two bedroom cottages on the Lake for 3 nights. The site was stunning. However our cottage needed some repairs which was surprising since this is a Fairmont property. After a fine overnight VIA Rail Canada trip to Jasper, we were delighted with our two nights at the Fairmont Jasper Lodge. The concierge was most efficient and arranged wild life, horseback riding, and guided walks for our pleasure.
