I hate travelling alone but my recent stay at Metterra was great. Clean rooms, super confortable beds and linens. Nice and close to downtown. I did have a rented car. No trouble with the valet or parking on the street overnight. Breakfast was good and the wine tasting was a very nice touch. Would definitely stay again. more

I haven't been to Edmonton in years. On the drive in from the airport I passed several cookie cutter hotels in areas that seemed industrial.
