First time staying at the Metterra. What a wonderful hotel. Clean updated rooms. Friendly staff. Great location, walked everywhere (farmers market, resteraunts, bars, neat shopping venues). Wine and cheese tasting before a night out was a great way to start the evening. We loved it. If ever we are back in Edmonton I would surely stay at the Metterra again.

Girlfriends and I stayed here during a recent shopping trip. The hotel was great. Complimentary breakfast and wine tasting was a great add on. We enjoyed our room and the area was funky and fun to walk and shop.

It's hard to get a hotel manager to answer the phone, let alone personally help a guest - but that's just what hotel manager, Dawn Li did for me. I had a travel date problem and she quickly sorted out my problem. Fantastic service!

Have stayed here many, many times, the location just can not be beat. We always book an air suite and request one with the patio overlooking Whyte. It is fantastic people watching. Get to the comp breakfast early or there will be no food left. Their comp WiFi is very flaky and last time we could not connect at all.... More
