Poorly lit hallways, sliding patio doors overlooking parking lots on low floors with poor locking systems (chain locks and wooden sticks - really!). Forgot to bring the passcode to the hotel but discovered it wasn't necessary; the passcode is right on the front door. Upon entering the hotel I discovered the office was closed with a post it note giving a phone number to contact.
