If visiting between May and September, treat yoursel to one of these lodges, it is the most beautiful peaceful place. The accommodation is excellent the restaurant food is also excellent and the staff were courteous and friendly without being obtrusive. If you only have one night spend it here instead of at Lake Louise. Having travelled a great deal and... More

It has one of the best hikes in North America. We were able to take delicious packed lunches for the hikes along with water. The tap water is from glacial wells and is one of the best water in the world. Rooms were lakefront and very comfortable. Had an excellent breakfast menu including 2-3 hot items and several varieties of... More

We stayed at the Lodge, September 22rd through the 26th. It is a great location for hiking and canoeing the lake, as well, as hiking surrounding areas. We stayed in Cabin 16 which was near the water's edge and enjoyed the spectacular view. The accomodations were very nice and the food was excellent at the Lodge. We didn't feel dinner... More

Moraine Lake is one of those pristine places that you can't believe exists until you actually see it. We stayed at the Lodge two nights in September in the main lodge which is rustic and cozy. From the moment we checked in until the checkout the staff was most accommodating. Erin's bright smiling face and friendly demeanor was welcoming. Rory... More

We stayed here for three nights 25th to 27th September in a room in the Queen wing with a balcony and wonderful lake views. a comfy bed and good sized bathroom. We lit the fire each evening which was lovely but could not keep it burning for long! Moraine Lake was very popular with tour buses arriving by 9 in... More

Moraine Lake Lodge defines rustic elegance. We had a deluxe king cabin and loved it. You enter into a small hallway with the bathroom on your left and then walk into the king bed area. From there you can either walk out on to your balcony that looks out over Moraine Lake, or go down two steps to your sitting... More

We stayed in cabin 18 and had the most amazing view of Moraine Lake. Our room was smaller than I expected, especially the bathroom, but nothing that couldn't be dealt with. The room was very clean upon our arrival. We loved the wood fire, kept us warm all night! We enjoyed tea and biscuits in the library in the afternoon.... More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights 22 - 25th September. Our room with a balcony and view by the lakeside had a fairly limited view of the lake: the room had an aircon system which was disturbingly noisy and we were unable to turn it off. We asked for this to be looked at, but no improvement was... More

We scheduled a stop at Moraine Lake Lodge for 2 nights to give us a bit of a break from travelling. Oh how we wishes we had booked longer!. I had decided to spend one night here because I am a photographer & wanted to be close to Moraine Lake (which is beautiful) in the evening and early morning when all the tourists would be elsewhere. For that reason alone I don't regret spending so much. At most lodges and cabins you can drive directly to your cabin. Here... More
