As we could not find a good B & B in the Lake Louise area we stayed two night at this hotel. It was not good and also not bad. We found it rather commercial, as we had to pay for WIFI. Nowhere in Canada had we to pay for this! Our room looked out to the swimming pool and... More

The best thing about Lake Louise Inn is its location. It is right by Lake Louise, so you can spend your evening with a nice canoe ride across the lake, rather than driving all the way back down to Banff to stay at a more value priced hotel. One downside of staying at Lake Louise Inn - you will hear... More

Had intended to stay in Banff following a drive from Calgary en route to Icefields parkway but due to a slip up in zone selection on a well known bidding site we ended up staying here! Was slightly irritated with myself given the lukewarm reviews at best that this place seems to get on TA but was slightly heartened to... More

This property has not been updated for many years and it shows. The room and bathroom look very tired and worn. Our room was so small that we had to put our suitcases on the bed to have room to walk around. The toilet did not work and we had to have the maintenance man come twice to work on... More

We stayed overnight on our way back to Calgary from Jasper. We only wanted a budget hotel for one night and this filled the bill. It's not the Ritz and makes no pretense in this direction. It is an honest budget option that offers a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Our restaurant choices did not include the buffet referred to... More

$50 pet fee. Added 50% extra to the price of a one night stay. It's shoulder season guys - notice it's neither snowing nor is the sun shining? More

We stayed for one night on our way through to Jasper on a fly drive holiday. Room was OK and staff helpful. But WiFi was not free (which was free at all other hotels on our trip) and we arrived on a Sunday. As a result one of the hotel restuarants was closed and the other only offered a very... More

Because we had my cat and dog with us, we had to upgrade to a slightly larger room but they only charged $30.00 for the upgrade and of course the usual pet fee. The room was wonderful, beautiful view from the living room and it had a fireplace and a murphy bed in addition to the bedroom which had a... More

The wireless internet was not working upon arrival. We were told that there was no known date for going back on line. It is a fee system and we are used to lodging providing free service. Upon check out, I told the clerk that I had expected free wireless services in lodging of this "caliber". I was told that the... More

We stayed here two nights. We had pre booked and paid a room for the two of us. At the last moment our daughter decided to join us. This was no problem at all for the friendly staff: no extra charges! We got a large clean room in building no. 5. Inside the main building are all the facilities like... More
