We stayed at the Swiss village for 2 nights... because we were out during the day. I was skeptical earlier by its low pricing compared to others but was amazed to see that it really was a very decent room. We dined at the Woodfire grill restaurant on the property but you can give that a skip. We were also... more

Firstly, I have to say I really don't understand why this hotel has so many bad reviews. I'm English and fussy and this hotel while not being 5* is perfectly acceptable for the cost. I found the staff helpful and friendly. They made time to show me routes and directions for my onward journey. The staff in the dining room... more

I stayed 3 nights in what must be the oldest and least-cared-for section of rooms. If you paid a rock-bottom price (which for me was around $85 in September) you'll probably end up in the building on the right side of the complex. It's clean and it's acceptable, but it definitely needs attention. I watched as empty room service trays... more

Staying at the Inns of Banff wasn't bad. Staying in the summer was an odd experience for me as most of the times I'd come to Banff National Park I'd come during the winter for the skiing. Unlike most of the rest of the year, the hotels were cheap and all had vacancy, so we got an upgraded room with... more

Recent stay in Banff was wonderful. Checked in expecting a room with a small fridge. No luck! Had to pay a ten dollar a night upgrade which seems silly. Also, a horrid hotel for the heat. No a/c and even with window and door open we found it hot in late August. The upside is the price 99 CA a... more

Stayed at the Inns of Banff for 3 nights, our first room was basic and we were very disappointed so requested an upgrade, 2nd room alot better, cleaner and had better decor. Claimed to have wireless internet but this was very temperamental. more

Hotel staff barely knew english. Rooms were old and needed rennos. Hot tub and pool nearly burned us with the chlorine content. Better stay elsewhere! more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inns of Banff late in August. From reading other reviews I definitely had my concerns. Some noted that finding a parking spot was troublesome. Others mentioned the failing upkeep and inadequate costumer service. Naturally, I was a little worried. However, our vacation ended up being amazing (not only due to the hotel but... more

We had a room booked in the Swiss Village but actually stayed in the main hotel. The room was a good size for a family of 4 with an en-suite bathroom. Clean and well furnished. The restaurant is expensive (as are all eating places in Canda) so we didn't eat in. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean but... more

3.5 star hotel, what a misleading statement, the standard rooms in the swiss villege are well below standard, unclean, baths that did not work, furniture that looked like it came out of the dump, old uncomfortable beds and charging people $140/night, we did upgrade to the main hotel, better but not by much, at least the room was bigger, buut... more
