Stayed for a weekend in the Loren Suite, which was beautifully designed, with the original Manor House beams a great feature. The bar and restaurant, whilst vibrant and very atmospheric, didn't detract at all from the comfort of the rooms and a good night's sleep. Good place to stay with the odd problem. On the plus points the breakfast is excellent. Cooked to order and with proper toast. Bed very comfortable, and the staff very pleasant. Wifi works well in room and bar. The main problem is a shower with low water pressure and negligible heat. That needs to be sorted out. More

You could probably get a cheaper hotel a mile out of the center of town, that's more modern and has water pressure. We paid 70 GPB while other members of our family paid 44 GPB for a Hilton two miles towards Sheffield. My husband and I stayed at the manor house, we booked the Loren suite which was spectacular! we loved the old building and contemporary style, the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening and the food was supurb. We would definately come back and would highly recommend. More
