We stayed at the Mayan Resort , too far from town. Had a good fish at a second story restaurant. The town had little to reccomend it other than its proximity to the border. This resort has a great beach - playing in the waves was fantastic. Waiters come out to wherever you are for drink orders. No cell phone service, few clocks, very relaxing. Don't believe anything you read about what is available here except a very large beach. Meals are very pricey and you have the "choice" of one restaurant and one "grill".
