We stayed in Grand Palladium Colonial from December 6 to December 13: my husband and I, our 17 year old son and 6 year old daughter and my husband's parents - 72 and 68 year olds. That was our 7th trip to Cancun and Riviera Maya and the first time in Grand Palladium. Usually we stay at Iberostar complex in... more

The Grand Palladium Resort carries out very bad ethnic jokes against its caucasian guests. While on the beach Tuesday afternoon we were approached by a young man who was a member of the cast of their nightly shows. He handed us a paper and told us that there was a big party scheduled the following night at the salt water... more

THE GOOD: Better than average beach with lots of chairs, numerous activities, incredible spa and sports facilities, vaste choice of restaurants, clean and well-tended rooms, lots of tropical forest all-round, friendly, efficient and patient personnel. THE BAD: Very long walking distances between rooms-beach-lobby (bring good shoes!), poor english-speaking abilities from most of personnel, 15 inch tv in room (it does... more

After reading several reviews from people on this site, I was a little skeptical. I was going on a limited budget so I had to alter my plans a little and settled on this resort instead of my original choice. For once I was glad that I was on a limited budget. This place was absolutely beautiful. The food was... more

As a party of 7 we were looking forward to a much awaited break but that was short lived. the flight attendent was so rude when it came to no meal on inward and outward flights for my daughter. We had raw sewage leaking from the room above us and it took the hotel 8 days of us complaining before... more

My best friend and I went to Grand Palladium Colonial for a quick holiday away. Since we were only on a short trip (3 nights) we spent most of our time at the resort. We had an absolute wonderful vacation. The resort was very clean, the staff was helpful and polite, and the amenities were everything we expected from the... more

Our fifth trip to mexico. Have been to cancun, riviera maya and puerto vallarta. This trip was different because we went in Oct. normally we go in Dec./Jan. Kind of hard to compare apples to oranges with the time of the year. We don't usually like large resorts, but this was very manageable with the trolly system to get around.... more

We had a fabulous vacation at a wonderful resort; and met a whole bunch of great people. But, to be fair, We didn't think our vacation was going to turn out that way - I'll start at the beginning; and hope that perhaps if you are a little more informed than we were - your trip won't start out as... more

We chose to stay in the Colonial section of this large resort since it is most central to all activities/restaurants and pools. However, those of you reading this review and thinking of booking at this resort should not only read the reviews listed here under the Colonial section of the Grand Palladium, but also look up on Trip Advisor the... more

My family and I stayed at the Grand Palladium October 3- October 10. No problems arriving. We met the Apple Vacations representatives and were loaded into a passenger van and on our way. The ride to the resort was around an hour. We did not know which Palladium we were going to stay in until we arrived (Kantenah, Colonial, White... more
