Great price for my liesure travels, always friendly, small homely type hotel. Wouldn't pay other outrages prices of other hotels!!! More

My husband and I visited San Luis Potosí (the city) in April 2007. As we didn't know the city and wanted to find a cheap place close to the center, we went with a popular guidebook's recommendation. The correct address for Hotel Progreso is Ignacio Aldama 415. This is a very old hotel in the very old historic center of San Luis de Potosi. The cost was 290 pesos (about $29 USD) per night. They would not negotiate for a weekly rate as it was during the high season. You don't need a reservation as this is... More
