Arrived on a wet January night after a long day. Very friendly welcome with a very welcome pot of tea waiting for us in the lounge after we had settled into our room. We stayed here for one night at christmas time after starting the first leg of the Saints way from Padstow. Excellent, friendly service, lovely, spotless room and a superb breakfast which set us up for another very muddy 14 miles to Fowey the next day.

After a long journey I received a warm and friendly welcome. Had a very nice and comfortable room in this beautiful building. Excellent breakfast. No evening meals available but 10 minute walk to reasonable pub in the village and very comfortable lounge with bar back at the hotel afterwards. Free wifi worked well and I had a good sleep.
