Very charming AUTHENTIC hotel in historic district of Puebla, Mexico. Highlight was the 5 day cooking school starting at 10 AM daily. We loved the chef, Alonso, and his assistant Cinthia. We cooked authentic Puebla dishes, then enjoyed what we cooked for lunch. Extremely well organized with only fresh ingredients. Since most of us did not speak Spanish, Cinthias translations... More

Overall hotel is ok but room 1 is extremely noisy at night due to noise in kitchen below, metal spiral stairwell just outside window accessed by rooftop occupants; also the shower water temp is uncontrollable & with very little pressure. Do not use a rollaway bed, they are rock hard. More

We stayed at the meson sacrestia de la compania for one night, and we payed 120usd for the cajonera suite. A lot of money, but it looked great at the website. And we were not dissapointed. The people at the reception were very helpfull and nice. We were brought to the cajonera suite and it was really wow! A big... More

This hotel is on a charming street located by El Barrio De Los Artistas, which is also by the Dulcerias shops and the Artesenia shops. I think a hits borderline pricey. We stayed in room #2 it was cozy, but just a tad bit dark (only one small window). There was electrical lighting. The entrance door was a bit tricky... More

After an exhausting drive from Morelia we nestled into our very cool room with a fantastic king size bed. The furniture is wonderful and an interesting collection throughout. Dined downstairs after walking around looking for an alternative location to eat at. We loved this hotel and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to feel enclosed... More

This is a great hotel if you like quaint places. I loved the decoration and unlike a previous post, I was not put off by the price tags on everything. On the contrary, I kind of liked that it was an antique shop/hotel/restaurant. The service was excellent... people were very attentive. One thing I would say, there was a smell... More

We were facing a cancer diagnosis and in an attempt to escape and enjoy life, we went to Meson Sacristia. All I can say is everything was the best. This is the real Mexico. The room was charming, the breakfasts were perfect and delicious, and the cooking lessons were awesome w/ both Alonso and Lizbet being the nicest people you... More

I don't know the difference between a fry pan and a sauté pan so you may ask why did I do a trip that included cooking classes - for the hubby - this was a special treat for him and I ended up really enjoying myself. The hotel itself is a converted 16th century former Spanish colonial residence and has... More
