A miscommunication regarding our reservation was corrected prompty and professionally.. and we were so grateful! A gorgeous chic hotel, with large elegant rooms, beautifully furnished with exquisite contemproray talavera. The hotel is owned by one of the 4 certified talavera producing houses in Puebla. Everything oozes style and grace. A bit noisy (corridors and stairways tend to echo noises) but... More

This hotel is in the heart of the historic area of Puebla. The hotel is modern but keeps all the style and feel of its history. The large room was beautifully and individually decorated. Large comfortable bed, patio. Staff extremely helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. More

This place is outstanding. Spacious, airy rooms with, in our case, a huge balcony with table and umbrella, an enormous bathroom and dressing room. Plenty of sitting room as well. The position, a short walk to the art district and the zocalo, is great. Casareyna was not the most expensive place we stayed at, but it was the most comfortable.... More

Anzie and I aren't much on hyperbole, but Casareyna definitely exceeded all expectations. The rooms are superbly decorated with traditional carpets and talavera sinks. The restaurant was fabulous -- breakfast was perfect! Great location -- only four blocks from the Zocalo; across, the street from a tasteful mall with a Cineplex. (We saw Sherlock Holmes in English). What made it so... More

My girlfriend and I visited Puebla after attending our friend's wedding in Mexico City. We discovered the hotel thru the myriad of good reviews via Tripadvisor.co, and Hotels.com. Upon arrival at Casareyna, we knew immediately we had made the right choice. The hotel reviews posted previously are on the mark. The staff are gracious, very helpful and provided an excellent... My family of 11 people (ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 92 years) stayed in Casareyna Hotel over the Xmas holiday. We have all travelled quite a bit, and to a person, we LOVED Casareyna. It is a beautiful property. Both the public areas and individual rooms are lovely -- tastefully furnished and elegant, without being ostentatious or gaudy.... More

Casareyna is a small hotel, but that does not imply it lacks anything in any way! The staff are helpful and friendly. We like to sleep and they would be willing to clean the room late for us (sometimes after 4 pm). The rooms are spacious, and so is the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are very... Essentially everything positive that has been said about the hotel is true. There is indeed some noise but it is generally very quiet throughout the property by 10 PM......The ambience is tasteful, understated and very comfortable......The setting is delightful and the location very, very good. Much of this can be said, however, an be said about many properties throughout the... More
