The resort is beautiful. We were in a Grand Master Suite (2 bedroom) and is was lovely. The issues were: no coffee (charged fee), no refills of shampoo or lotion, bath supplies, it our kitchen until, there were no paper towels or napkins- so we had to rely on dishtowels. The pool is kept at freezing temperature. Not even the jacuzzi style areas are tollerable. The rooms are very nice and include a jacuzzi and a semi-private kids pool. more

The property is quite nice but the pools arent heated. The 2 'hot tubs' are warm. No place for children to swim. You cant swim in he ocean!!!! Swarming with time share tours. Water activities listed on the 'activity board did not happen because of cold pools. The food was okay at best. Only 1 resturant was open most days.... more

We enjoyed our stay at The Grand Mayan, the rooms were the cleanest we've ever been in. The food is a bit of of a rip off in the Hotel but within a 5 minute walk from the Hotel there is a Mega Mart and great restaurants which we frequented. We own at the Grand Mayan and had not been to the Cabo Grand Mayan before. It is definitely a smaller and more intimate resort than Puerto Vallarta, which we like best so far.
