The location is right in the middle of everything, right on the water, so many pools, wonderful staff, and a van that takes you up and down the large hill that the property is located on. Great location within walking distance to Cabo nightlife, shopping and restaurants. Try to get the newer building that is closer to the ocean. This is a lovely hotel in Cabo. It's close to downtown so you can walk and avoid taking taxis, although if you don't want to walk the taxi rate is the lowest one available, and the bicycle taxis are also available. The hotel is on the Pacific side, and there is no swimming in the ocean.....although you can surf fish... more

CON: The major con for me about this hotel was that the beach that the hotel lies on is absolutely unswimmable. You will see maybe two people on the beach every day it is incredible! I stayed at the Finisterra for six nights in October and everything about the place was great. We stayed in the new section and even though our room was on the ground floor, we had a nice view of the pools and ocean. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. We love the Hotel Finisterra For its Location (with in walking distant of the harbor and town.) and its great pool area and beach. It was not a all-Inclusive at the time we were there but the bar food and drinks were good. I have been to the Hotel Finisterra Twice. more
