I love dogs, we travel with a standard poodle but I pick up my dog's poo. We had always heard this place was wonderful, so when we arrived in San Ignacio on our transpennisular trip, we decided to check and see if they had a place for us for the night. When I got out of the car, my foot... More

It is truly a gem in the oasis called San Ignacio! Charmingly different from the usual hotel block, the tents/yurts are well maintained. Our yurt was exceptionally clean- crisp, fresh towels & sheets, a small microwave and fridge and a very large bathroom and room. It felt tranquil, light, fresh and peaceful. The river running right behind our yurt was a... More

Terry and Gary are terrific hosts. Their knowledge of the area was extremely helpful. The yurts were sparkly clean, the shared meals delicious and plentiful. Meals are available to folks not staying at the yurts too. We highly recommend this delightful B & B. More

We stayed here one night on our way to see the whales. We stayed in the big yurt which had 2 queen beds and a double which was perfect for the four us (2 adults and 2 children). THe yurt was very clean and the beds and linens very comfortable. The location was great. It's next to the river and... More

My husband & I started making a stay at San Ignacio Springs an annual tradition many years ago. From the first time we visited, and every time since, it has been a delightful experience. Terry & Gary have made us feel at home, the communal meals were delicious & hearty. The yurts are clean & well furnished. Each yurt has... More

Loved it! Couldn't imagine a more lovely setting or more accommodating hosts. It was the perfect place to stop on the way to commune with the whales, but we enjoyed the B & B and San Ignacio itself so much, that we've already reserved two nights instead of one for next year! Terry & Gary, the cats & dogs all... More

All the great reviews of this "Glorified Tent Accommodation" has me very puzzled to say the least!! A Yurt is a canvas round tent with a wood frame. February (and other months) are cold in the Baja desert. At $125.00 a night, I expect more. Sure it is an interesting concept and sitting under palm trees is charming!! Our experience...(minus... This is the perfect spot to stay the night when driving down the Baja peninsula from So Cal. There are cheaper places to stay, but the security gate, gracious hosts, and filling breakfasts make this THE place. More

Heavenly after the long and sometimes grueling drive either up or down the Baja peninsula, hosts Terry and Gary Marcer welcome you to their delicious oasis under the palms on the banks of a fresh water lagoon. You can just feel the tension seep out of your pores as you relax under the palms on your private patio outside of... More

Whether you’re driving up or down the Baja, it’s worth stopping in San Ignacio to stay at the Ignacio Springs Bed and Breakfast. Hailing from British Columbia, gracious hosts Terry and Gary Marcer have been welcoming guests for the past 10 years. Set amongst a forest of date palms along the Rio San Ignacio, you’ll love the experience of sleeping... More
