This boutique hotel had beautiful rooms and grounds. Our spacious room had a seperate dining/living area and balcony with great views. Lush beds and very quiet. A bit of a walk to town but a short cab ride. Felt very comfortable there

Today, I ate for the second time at this hotel. They offer a Sunday buffet from 1P.M. to 4 P.M. I mistakenly remembered it as Sunday brunch. When I showed up at 11 A.M., they were serving a breakfast buffet. Fine. I came for the garden view. If only you could eat the view. The buffet was horrible. The beans... More

this hotel facilities are awsome, the customer service is also very good, but their meals are expensive and not good, you can go and have an amazing meal half the price downtown, that is good.. here the food is not good, and waiters are not able to help as kitchen is always busy, they have their hands tight, but if... Beautiful little property in San Miguel de Allende. The service was excellent, the rooms large and the amenities wonderful. The decoration in every single room of the hotel is different and very detailed. We loved the fireplace in our room, the balcony where we sat to drink a Margarita, and the peace that surrounded us throughout our entire stay. The... More

We recently came back from SMA and stayed at La Puerticita. The hotel has beautiful grounds, lovely large rooms and a very nice staff. The only negative was the breakfasts. We are not sure if they didn't understand us or they were out of things, but we didn't get what we ordered and it took more time than it should... More

This was my 2nd visit to La Puertecita. This time we took a group of 12. It was wonderful! All in our group were happy. The rooms are large. The hotel is in the Atascadero area of San Miguel about a 15 minute walk down the hill to town. We loved the walk. The walk back up the hill is... More

we selected this hotel for our anual LATAM Meeting. The place is very clean and cosy. The gardens are very well cared and make and excellent mix of the hotel with the natural view to make you feel relaxed at all time. The food is great and the chef was always aware of us. Teresa, the sales manager, assured us... More

La Puertecita is a beautiful property just far enough away from the center of the city to be quiet and peaceful. The rooms (more like suites) are enormous and almost apartment-like. Sometimes you can have too much room, especially if you only have one night! Our room sported a King canopied bed, desk, enormous bath area with 2 beautifully tiled... More

San Miguel Allende is a great colonial city, and has many hotels. However the majority are too close to the Main Plaza and the Cathedral, and the noise some times is too much. This is only 800 meters away but in a very calm zone. Great gardens, pool, jacuzzi, spa. Servide is impecable and food good (could be better though).... More
