We're a group of 11, ranging in age from 5 to 80 who booked for mum's 80th birthday . We have traveled all over the world and have seldom experienced the total package that is Kinnitty Castle. Everything from the quality of the food, the four poster beds and beautiful surroundings, to the friendly attentive staff, made it an unforgettable... more

Where do I start. Went to a family 40th birthday party on Sat and had had flu all week so wasnt really looking forward to going away and especially to a castle that I imagined to be cold. Drove up the long drive with my mother and 15year old son in a thick fog and everywhere looked spooky. Well was... more

Stayed with family and friends in Kinnitty to ring in a significant birthday last November. I cannot say good enough things about the experience! The staff were very helpful in the lead-up to the day. The setting and location of the building are fabulous, the entrance is majestic, the rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had the party in... more

Stayed ere recently for one night with my partner. Found the staff to be very attentive & the food very tasty. But most of all the hotel itself is something special if your looking for a relaxing night away with a difference! it is a welcomed relief from the typical hotel & oozes character. Great place to relax in a... more

We saw an ad in the Irish Independent and though it would be somewhere different to bring the kids before they went back to school after the hols. Going up the driveway in the frost was like that scene from The Shining - spooky. When we were met by a guy with a gleam in his eye we feared the... more

The staff were off hand. The food was dire. The room was bitterly cold so we asked to be moved - we did get a slightly warmer room but the wall were oosing damp, the four poster bed had mildew on the pillars and drapes- very authentic. In the morning there was no heating and no hot water. The previous... more
