Stayed here several times over the past 15 months, once for up to a week. Susan and John have always been charming and accommodating, being flexible when we had to rearrange, and when I visited with a friend who was very unwell. The establishment I still visit and will continue to visit is unrecognisable from the one described above. The... More

My friend and I have been travelling from London to Lancashire for a 'girlie' week shopping for 15 years, the 1st 10 years we stayed in Blackburn, but when the owners of the B&B retired, I looked for an alternative, I am so pleased that I found Isles Field Barn, we have just returned from our 6th visit in 5... I have been staying at Isles field Barn regularly for the last two years, averaging 3 times per year, the first thing you notice is the warmth of the welcome from Susan and John. The place is beautifully presented and traditional in style, the rooms are spacious and furnished in a traditional farmhouse style and comfortable, the rooms are clean... More

We booked a couple of nights at isles farm whilst visiting the area for a wedding, we had seen the great reviews and had high hopes for a relaxing and comfortable weekend inbetween 500mile drives to reach preston. Firstly the property is beautifull and set in a lovely spot although it is a mere 12ft from a national speed limit... More

My two children and I chose Isles Barn Bed and Breakfast because we were attending a wedding in Preston and wanted to make a relaxing weekend break of our visit to Lancashire. We were warmly welcomed by Susan and John who are the loveliest people. John has a great catch phrase which he uses whenever you aks him for or... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in total whilst working in the area, Susan & John were very friendly & helpful, the accommodation was immaculate & the full breakfast was top draw. We went to work after a very hearty & healthy breakfast. I would recommend staying here to anyone of my friends or family. More

Stayed here for one night in April while visiting the blackpool area. Very friendly place and very helpful. Nice comfortable room, a good size and with character. Lovely breakfast and a tour of the farm was provided afterwards which was nice to see. We did not want to stay in the centre of Blackpool as preferred to escape from all... More

I booked this based on the previous reviews and I have to say that staying here made our weekend. We've stayed at fancy hotels before but service and attention to detail is everything. The room was spacious to say the least and spotlessly clean. We stayed two nights and the room was neatened up in between. The room had everything... More

John and Susan warmly welcome all their guests into their farmhouse, which is in a beautiful country setting, about five miles from Preston. All the rooms are comfortable and spacious, with clean, fresh bedding and good bathroom facilities. John took us out to see the farm animals, including his dogs and horses, which was a big hit not only with... More
