Jade is great – it’s a wonderful space to stay and chill out. We had a great room (No 3, fire) – a lovely big bed, a shower with enough hot water for us, and a fantastic private balcony with a hammock. We could watch the sun rise every morning over the Caribbean without even moving from the bed. Chile... More

This is the most amazing place ever. Beautiful views, lovely tree houses, and a very chilled out feeling. Room was very clean, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice a huge plate of fruit and toast. This place is off the beaten track a bit but if you want a relaxing holiday then go. Hope... More

We loved the primitive dream. We weren’t put off by some of the previous reviews because we’re regular visitors to Tulum and are used to people like those previous negative reviewers who really should stick to Cancun, Playa del Carmen or the all-inclusive stretch and leave the treasures of Tulum for those of us who appreciate the more authentic natural... My husband and I were so upset with CESiak that we left after 2 nights and drove around looking for somewhere else. We used trip advisor, but the highly rated places were booked or really expensive. We just found Jade by luck, drove in and met the super friendly owners Juan and Marta. They showed us the most romantic room... More

We found this place by accident and thank whichever deity guided us to it. We were immediately made to feel very welcome by our hosts and always enjoyed our chats with them, leaning lots of useful information about where to visit and what happens during a hurricane! We wanted peace and quiet to enjoy the sound of the sea, the... More

first off, if you want a resorty, all inclusive hotel...then jade isn't for you. but, if you appreciate natural beauty, rustic glamour, and do not want to be waited on every minute, then jade is a must! i knew from reading the rave reviews from fellow new yorkers (especially brooklyn where we live!) that i would love jade as much... After 3 wonderful days on Holbox island we arrived at the Jade Hotel. As there was no one there and the hotel seemed abandoned we drove back out of the property hoping to find a place that looked like what we have seen on the internet... It must have been a charming hotel once - but it seems that since... More

We stayed at jade this month for almost a week and after reading reviews I was very excited to stay there. We were in the jungle nest and found it to be very dismal inside the cabin. Yes, you do have privacy since you are separated from the other cabins, but the room was tired, stained curtains, had a moldy... More

We stayed at Jade for 3 nights Jan 4-7 2008. It was a holiday season so we paid $200 a night. We think that it was way over priced, and that left us with a bitter taste. We came with our 1.5 year old daughter. Jade didn't supply a crib for the baby, so we had to bring our own... More

My husband suprised me with three extra days of vacation at Jade. I had read some of the reviews and was a little nervous. I was really impressed with this hotel. It is absolutely beautiful. Juan and Martha are such a nice couple. They really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. They would make coffee in... More
