What we loved: - very clean grounds, rooms - very attentive employees (please tip, they work extremely hard) - amazing food selection, fish was delicious! - varied activities throughout the entire day, never have to leave the resort - secluded, no nearby hotels, private beach for miles!! - charm and character of the resort, not commercial at all What we didn't liken (keep in mind, the good outweighs the bad): - 1.5 hour car ride... more

My husband and I traveled here for our honeymoon, and had nothing but great things to say about our time spent there. It is a long drive to the hotel from the airport, but you should be expecting this anyway. The staff was great, very attentive. Our rooms were nice, we loved the walk in showers with no doors! The resort was kept very clean, and room service came sometimes twice a day and they... more

Recently a group of 20 of my friends and family went to all-inclusive Dreams Tulum for a week. We were greeted right away when you came out of the airport transfer van with champagne and moist towels to freshen up. We we all extremely impressed with the resort, it was beautiful. The rooms were really nice and clean, the food was great and there were lots of restaurants to choose from. The staff were so... more

We stayed at Dreams Tulum Nov. 5th - Nov. 14th, and it was perfect First off, if anyone is thinking of flying Mexicana Airlines I would highly recommend them. Our flight from JFK to Cancun took off on time and was smooth. Mexicana Airlines offers food on their flight, and free alcohol once 11am comes around - not too many flights that do that these days! We met our friends from CA at the airport... more

This is my 9th trip to the Riviera Maya; my husband and I have stayed at everything from Le Blanc in Cancun to Azulik in Tulum and lots in-between. We are small luxury or eco hotel people, not all-inclusive people, so it was with some trepidation that we decided to visit Dreams. We were bringing our kids along this time, so we felt the all-inclusive thing would be easier for their picky palettes, and we... more

I just returned yesterday from Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa, with my husband, parents, and siblings/spouses. This was our first time to Dreams Tulum, and we all enjoyed the place. We arrived at the tail-end of tropical storm Ida, so our first two days were rainy, but still warm. The bugs were a bit annoying due to the storm, but the hotel was fumagating in the evenings to prevent the nuisance, and for the most... more

The best thing about the hotel is the service. The staff greeted us with champagne as we arrived, which was a pleasant start to our vacation. The concierge was very helpful. She even pulled out her own personal pictures to show us shots of a cenote that she strongly recommended. The restaurants were incredible. The food was always presented with 5 star quality and it tasted sooo good. Our favorite was Portofino, but really by... more

This is our first trip to Tulum. Our group was small, and we were there for a wedding. Postives: Low tourist season, so nearly empty resort, restaurants and beach. Lots of empty pool chairs and beach chairs. The shuttles were as quick as possible from airport to resort. We met a wonderful group from Iowa,on our shuttle!! Bellmen were GREAT!! They called taxis and shuttles quickly. Service at the bars and buffet was excellent. The... more

We'll never forget what a great and super time we had at Dreams Tulum. This was particularly due to our fine experience at the dive shop. My wife previously had some bad experiences trying to learn to scuba dive. So much so that she was afraid to try again. Having been a certified diver for many years, I've always wanted her to dive with me. The staff, in particular, Enrique (Ki-ke) took super care of... more
