We checked into the Master Suite for a brief 3 day weekend in January, and it was just wonderful. The Mezzanine is a little bit quirky, a true Boutique Hotel, just a few rooms, a great restaurant and a wonderful location. Our room was beautifully decorated and a good size, with a wonderful ocean view. The main grounds of the... More

Mezzanine has some of the best, oddly enough, Thai Food in Mexico. The place is just super relaxing and close to ruins. More

We stayed at Mezzanine for 6 days around New Years and I cannot say enough about this hotel. The concierge and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, so the staff all know you and go out of their way to make sure you are doing well and are helpful when ever you have questions. We... More

We spent 7 nights at Mezzanine in December. Beautiful property, nice location on the quieter, more remote, north end of Tulum Beach. The area to the south is where most of the boutique hotels, cabanas, and restaurants are located. Mezzanine is less than 5 minutes drive away and cabs are plentiful and cheap. You can even walk or ride a... More

Beautiful hotel, very small and private with a great location on the beach. The room we booked was a bit dark (not ocean facing) and had an unusual design that the bathroom was open to the room, apart from curtain separators. Certainly not much privacy. I would recommend trying the ocean view rooms which have a loft-design - plus ocean... More

We booked late and could only get 1 night at the King's size rooms (downstairs). We paid ~$200 (including taxes), 2 adults, on December 9 2011. Positives -Tulum. This is paradise. The best beach, the best views and is just a couple of steps away. -Good Thai Restaurant with regular prices (155 pesos main dish, appetizer ~100-90 pesos) -Comfortable beds,... More

Bottom line: This is a terrific place for those who like things on a smaller scale without sacrificing comfort. The Setting: The hotel is perched above a rocky section of beach, but the stairs down from the hotel lead directly to a huge swath of white sand right next door. The water is amazingly blue, the grounds are small but... More

We had the balcony suite (#10) for two nights. First the positives. We probably had the best view in Tulum. We loved the location of the bed, which allowed us to sleep and wake up to a beautiful view of the sea. All of the windows had insect screens, which meant we could sleep with the windows open. The hotel... More

This hotel is absolutely the most sacred space I have ever experienced. The room was amazing. The staff is professional and lovely and full of spirit. The in room on the balcony massage was to die for. The food is spectacular! I never left the hotel once I arrived. 3 complete days of pure heaven. The beaches are the most... More
