I think the lonely planet team should reconsider their recommendations about tulum. We had a private room across the street with no one there to host us. The fan was awful and we could see the cieling moving with it. Woke up this morning to ants in my brace case and a dirty shower. Windows taped up with a shoddy... More

One of the hostels I have enjoyed the most so far through central america. Nice backyard where everybody hangs out. Nice bar and an excellent payment system using your key. Great b fast included! oh and a really cute fat cat! More

If you want to meet some fantastic other travellers, come here and have an amazing time!! Free Breakfast, free transportation to the beach, free clean water and very close to the busstation. In the evening you can enjoy the daily BBQ or cook your own stuff. If you had a stressful day, relax in one of the hammocks in the... More

I happened to walk past Weary Traveller on my hunt for a hostel. It is really close to the bus station, and it`s very well organised with a no-cash-until-you-check-out system. Dangerous for some. I was very happy with the free lentils, pasta, and rice. Cooking pancakes, or eggs (just the way I like them) for breakfast was no problem. It`s... More

First time for me in a hostel. Very very good experience. The contact with other travelers, the vibe, i won't forget it and it won't take long before i come back! More

We got a room in the hotel. The sheets were annoying and the shower didn't work. The breakfast, which you had to make yourself, was poor value. Save yourself some money and choose somewhere better. More

Weary Traveller has a good outdoor common area, helpful staff, and is a block from the bus station. I like that I can just leave my passport at the front desk, order beers from the bar without cash, and pay when I check out. They rent bikes, organize tours, and have a free shuttle to the beach twice a day.... More

Awsome hostel; clean, fun, breakfest, salsa and bbq nights, shuttle to the beach, wifi, music and great location and price. But-we stayed in a private room for 2 and these are the cons: the building with the private rooms is located outside the hostel, almost a block away! Its not fun to walk all this way every time. Second, for... More
