First off... The best part of the trip was surely the view from the sea cabana.... I don't think there is anyplace else that could compare to the brilliant sea view and the salted air while napping on the bed swing and my new friend Pablo, the friendly iguana. That said, all else was much of a disappointment. We loved... More

This place has so much potential, but falls short due to poor upkeep and Management. You must know what you're getting into before spending your money here. Disappointments aside, this is an "eco-friendly" resort. Meaning no electricity. So, there is a certain degree of "roughing it" in play. However, when paying what we paid per night (about $290), one should... More

just got back from azulik and felt compelled to review. first, when looking over trip advisors reviews you need the correct perspective. people that can spend 300 bucks a night probably have been to some pretty nice hotels, best service, restaurants, etc .But, if you look at azulik purely from a dollars vs. deluxe angle it fails. this properties existence... We stayed in the Honeymoon Villa in September 2011. We stayed in Tulum for eight days, and we stayed at two other hotels on the beach prior to staying at Azulik. I'd HIGHLY recommend the other two we stayed at - Posada del Sol and Playa Mambo - over Azulik. We planned our trip so that we'd stay at Azulik... More

My wife and I stayed here for five nights at the end of September. It was our honeymoon and we both wanted a place to getaway without internet and all of the things that tie us to our businesses. The Azulik definetely met out needs in that category. It was quite slow when we were there and I would guess... More

It was a ript-off $ 350 usd a night for a dirty cabana, with not fresh water only salt water and no electricity. It is just too much. I will pay no more that $ 100 usd and that is still expensive. The place is falling to pieces, bugs all over the place and the service, well there was no... More

I have had a terrible experience with their staff. They did not provide a bottle of wine upon my arrival as promised. When I asked them to take the charge off the next day they agreed and then never did. They have been ignoring my emails and refuse to help. Go to a place with better customer service More

At the recommendation of friends who had stayed here 4 years ago, we came to Azulik on our honeymoon. Apparently this place has totally gone downhill, because it was a hugely disappointing experience. The concept is very cool -- each cabana is perched on the rocks so you have an amazing view, and private balcony with a little pool which... More

I stayed at this place for 10 days and I regret having paid in full before spending the night there. Where to start...it is not worth the money! Let us start with the bed, the mattress was old and you could fill the springs poking out, they covered it with egg crate foam which made it too hot so we... More
