We didn't stay here, so I can't comment on the hotel, but I can say that their food was delicious. It was, BY FAR, the best service we had. The chips were crisp and the oil (they cooked them in) was clean. the salsa was yummy, the ceviche, nachos and pizzas were excellent. It's in a hoppin' part of town,...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were satisfied.
The accommodations are spacious, clean and lovely.
The restaurant is great and the service even better! Huge compliments for Miguel!!
The only thing less satisfying is the beach. Lots of rocks and not so beautiful as in other areas of Tulum.

Zamas is located on a cove with a wonderful restaurant. When this hotel was built tulum road was not busy. I was one of the first guests and visit or stay here. The owners Daniel and Susan are wonderful along with the staff-I have never had a bad experience staying here. The restaurant has a wonderful wood burning pizza oven...

Good location for nearby shops, other restaurants. The beach front cabanas have some charm, that is true. People are nice. But...the beach is not cleaned up everyday. Hot water....at best, a trickle (no exaggeration). If you have long hair, forget it. Do your homework, lots of choice there for better value

Maybe a bit rough around the edges, but they are great hosts and the location is fantastic. This is the perfect antithesis to Cancun. Friendly, comfortable. There is a small strip of beach here, but it would be advised to venture into Sian Khan (sp?) and also to walk up the strip of coast for other/better beaches. Water too choppy...

After sampling a few bad pousadas, Zamas was a welcome relief - very safe, very friendly staff who really looked after you if you needed help. The restaurant is awesome, great view, lovely food and wonderfully relaxing live music. The room I had was clean and fresh towels and sheets everyday with clean blankets - a margin compared to others....

Stayed here last year, in a cabana right on the beach. We had a great experience. The people are super nice and helpful. the restaurant is good (a little too expensive) but very delicious.
I would recommend this place to anyone.

We made our reservation at Zamas to follow our wedding in Isla Mujeres. The photos of the property were great and we were hooked on the reviews about the cooking, the owner and the chef.
Well when we arrived, I did love the rustic simplicity of our cabana, but at $155 a night we expected at least a full sized...

Thank you for the nice comments about the design of our rooms at ZAMAS. We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the room and thought it was “lovely.”
We’re very sorry that you had a rough night with mosquitoes and you did not feel that your netting was up to standard. If we missed some defects in your netting, we are truly...
