We stayed here for 3 nights and were satisfied. The accommodations are spacious, clean and lovely. The restaurant is great and the service even better! Huge compliments for Miguel!! The only thing less satisfying is the beach. Lots of rocks and not so beautiful as in other areas of Tulum. More

Zamas is located on a cove with a wonderful restaurant. When this hotel was built tulum road was not busy. I was one of the first guests and visit or stay here. Good location for nearby shops, other restaurants. The beach front cabanas have some charm, that is true. People are nice. But...the beach is not cleaned up everyday. Maybe a bit rough around the edges, but they are great hosts and the location is fantastic. This is the perfect antithesis to Cancun. Friendly, comfortable. After sampling a few bad pousadas, Zamas was a welcome relief - very safe, very friendly staff who really looked after you if you needed help. The restaurant is awesome, great view, lovely food and wonderfully relaxing live music.
