An extremely comfortable and professionally run lodge. I came this time in august with a friend to go fishing. The guide was great and we caught many species of fish. The rooms and service here are impeccable and the beach is fantastic. I will be back again soon More

This was my second stay at BP. I was concerned because I was with my wife and she doesn't fish and is a Vegan. NO PROBLEM. From the start everything was easy. I booked my trip thru Claudia the representative at BP. She knows everything about the area and speaks perfect English. You can reach her at info@bocapaila.com. I've been... More

This family owned lodge does not mess around when it comes to catering to your every need. I have been to Mexico 5+ times and I have never felt more safe and important than I did at Boca Paila. My fiancée and I met the owner Antonio our first night at the lodge and were very impressed with the concern... More

I have been a regular visitor to Boca Paila for the last 8 or 9 years. We return each year because it is one of the best places to consistently have the opportunity to successfully catch permit on the fly. There are also a great diversity of other fly fishing opportunities including tarpon and bonefish as well as snook, barracuda... More

While staying in Tulum, my wife and I booked a day of fishing at the Boca Paila Lodge. Being experienced fly fishermen, we came with high expecations and we were very satisfied. Eduardo our guide was extremely knowledgable of the fishing grounds, very friendly, and gave us a wonderful day on the water. We had several shots a mostly solitary... More

We went bonefishing two days and caught over 20 each day and had out shots at permit. My wife and I are avid fly fishers but have done primarily trout fishing with some salt water in the bahamas and the gulf coast of florida. I was surprised at the size, I expected smaller but they were commensurate with what we... More

This is not a RESORT,this is more than that, without any luxury, but nature 100%..you have a confortable lodge with clean basic rooms with air conditioning, in the front yard you have the Caribbean ocean where you can deep sea fishing, swimming, snorkling or only miles to walk in real fine and clean sand; in the back yard you have a... I was there for a wedding anniversary celebration and flyfishing trip and everything was simply excellent! The Kindness of the service, the unparalell food, the beach and the warmth of a "family operated lodge" were more than i expected... Surprisingly awesome!. The only thing that was not right was the weather (one day of cold front in november), but of... More

Fishing this past week started off with a bang, was kinda slow during the week, and ended with another bang. We also got some EXCELLENT snook this week – not numbers, but the size was outstanding. Other than one fish about 7lbs on Monday, and a baby on Thursday – all of the snook we caught this week were between... More
