From the moment we arriived, we were treated as "royal" guests. Everthing offered was excellent. All staff were most helpful and courteous. We especially enjoyed our time by the pool. The "pool crew", most importantly, David, got everyone involved in all activites and made our trip!! more

We've stayed in many 5 star all inclusive resorts in Mexico and this one has to be the worst for service! What a waste of money!!! Four of us stayed at the Royal from the 13th - 18th of November after postponing due to Tropical Storm Ida ( very glad we bought trip insurance ). We have stayed at a number of All Inclusives in the area including the Royal Hideaway and Iberostar Gran Pariaso. The Royal was in many cases at or above the others.... more
