The Gran Porto Real made staying in Playa del Carmen a breeze. There are several restaurants to choose from, a spa, bars, swimming pools, room service, etc. They will mail postcards for you and there is a gift shop. The best part of the trip was the activities! If it wasn't for Eric, Alberto, and the activity instructors, I would have been bored. The food is terrible, the front desk was poor service and terrible manners. I enjoyed the bike tour, the other employees are very sweet. The crafts are fun! The gift shop is great!

Pros- This resort was in a great location in which you could walk to the main shopping street in Playa del Carmen. It was nice being close to everything in case you did want to leave the resort.
