Hotel Julamis is nothing short of exceptional. In short, this is a world-class example of what a small independently owned hotel should be and is fantastic value for money.
The hotel has been beautifully decorated with a perfect balance between respect for the Mexican colonial character of the building and modern hotel comforts which make for a great stay.

My husband and I stayed in the Julamis this past January and loved everything about it! We've been to the lovely City of Merida several times, but found this jewel on Trip Advisor just this last year. I have never been inspired to leave a hotel review until now. The price is amazingly low at about $65 a night and...

I have been to Merida a few times and I was recommended to stay here as the usual B&B I stay at (Casa Don Alfredo) was full. It was a great recommendation! The hosts Mel and Erid are so welcoming and friendly and will help you with tours and information on the area. The location is perfect, not far from...

Another great find thanks to Tripadvisor. Julamis is beautiful, conveniently located, clean, intimate. Breakfast is fresh, coffee is dark, rye bread is crusty, beds are king-size, roof terrace is soothing, service is what makes you stay one more day.
Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and found Hotel Julamis was every bit as good as all the other reviews said. Very convenient location half-way between downtown and Paseo Montejo, the two centers of dining, museums, and shopping. Lovely room with large private balcony overlooking the street, yummy breakfast of eggs, toast and fresh fruit and coffee always ready. And of course,...

How many hotels will specially make you homemade chicken soup when your wife comes down with the "Revenge"?!! Well Eddy one of the owners, whipped up soup just like your Mom.'s. We loved the place and will definitely return. The rooftop terrace had a small jacuzzi and could really benefit with a pool. Mel was so helpful and check out...

lovely hotel, extremely helpful and knowledgable owners who are always on hand to help plan your next trip or even just your next meal. Rooms were spotless and very nicely decorated. The roof-top terrace is a beautifully relaxing place to spend an afternoon. I would have no hesitation in recommending or returning.

We stayed here and had a great experience. The owners helped us several times with directions into town, advice where to eat, and much more. The rooms were excellent (we stayed in 2 rooms), and the bed was so big and very comfi. The only little remark I could think of is breakfast, which is very nice, but equal every...

Hotel Julamis is a beautiful hotel in an old restored building with charming rooms and delicious breakfast. Located on a safe, quiet street just a few blocks from the historic town square, it's location leaves you close to the city's best restaurants, shops, and attractions. Our room was very spacious and cool, with truly unique decor. It's clear that the...
