This B&B is simply beautiful. Stunning building, huge room with huge ceilings, an amazing bathroom, cute swimming pool, an excellent breakfast, well located. Sergio was particularly friendly, thorough and helpful. His dogs, cats and tortoises made good companions too. 10/10. More

What can you say bad about an experience at Casa Esperanza? A great old colonial mansion with. 20 foot ceilings, located 5 minutes on foot from Merida's "Times Square". This a superb place to stay in Merida. Sergio is a great host and the colonial style house is beuatifully restored. Our room was spotless and the breakfast is great. This B&B has little street profile but is like an oasis when you go inside. Sergio is an excellent host and speaks fluent English. Breakfast was delicious and great to get away from the regular hot American breakfast. Very quiet despite its excellent central location. More

We spent two nights at Casa Esperanza and truely loved it. Sergio welcomed us with the three gorgeous labradors. The room was great and the inside court is just lovely also to relax. All in all great time and would recommend it 100% because it we felt it was a very local experience with very warm hosts. Muchisimas Gracias Sergio!!! More
