I only spent one night at this hotel but I'd recommend it to budget travelers and arty types. It’s a gallery obscura with many intriguing antiques and curious works of art. My room was clean, comfortable and inexpensive. It was quiet and I slept well. More

We stayed here for 10 days & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our room was a huge with a bed we nearly got lost in, there's a large swimming pool & wifi. The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly & helpful & the building is also an art gallery. Hense the name. We really recommend staying here. More

The Hotel Trinidad Galeria is one of the stranger hotels we've ever stayed in, but it was a bargain. The staff were friendly and helpful and assisted us with booking a tour to Los Tres Cenotes. Our room was reasonably clean and our bathroom was just fine and was cleaned daily. We chose a room without air conditioning, so we... More

The place has a freaky feeling to it, almost creepy. The room we were given was filthy. Insects were crawling on our beds and on the ceiling. Asked for soap, towel and loo roll as there was none. Staff quite friendly and attentive. Room was surrounded by insects and spiders in the bathroom so we were unable to stay and... More

We stayed 1 night with a group of 21 persons. The hotel is big enough to admit big groups. LOCATION Good location, 5min walk to the city center SERVICES This big hotel is a massive art galery which gives a particular ambiance. There is a large swimming pool inside. A simple breakfast is included (fresh fruits, toasts and coffee) There... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and the first two nights we asked for a suite at the Trinidad Galeria, this was the most expensive and it was worth it. The bed was big and the room was OK, nevertheless there are a LOT of details in this hotel that makes you wonder about the overall service. For example our... More

This hotel gets very variating rates, but in fact you just have to know what you get. It is a very cheap hotel in the centre of a big city. The building is old and some things don't function anymore, but you don't pay a lot. We had two rooms, one with AC, the other with Fan. In fact, the... More

It may have charm, but it does not have any notion of cleanliness - suitable only for backpackers More

the good things: it's very charming, you feel like you're staying a room in someone's house, had private/gated parking 24hours a day, staff was very friendly and nice. The room was clean and had air conditioning as requested and the staff let us see the room first before paying. Easy to find/good location in Merida. the bad: The SHOWERS- first... More

A feast for the artistic eye. You'll find a wide variety of artforms here, in virtually every nook and cranny of the place. This, combined with the tropical plants and birds, antique furniture, and colonial Mexican architecture, makes for a veritable undiscovered treasure. Add to this the low rate, a helpful staff, and convenient location in the heart of Merida,... More
