Stayed here in March, 2005. We did not have a reservation and got a walk-up rate of $55 per night. The room was clean with a/c, 2 double beds and a bathroom. The Mar Azul wasn't bad. We stayed here a week in February of 2005. I think we paid around $67 per night and stayed for 3 nights. The ocean view is nice, but it's not a comfortable enough room that you really want to hang out at the hotel much to enjoy it. The beds are box springs on top... More

my husband and I stayed at the Mar Azul in Feb 2003. It was pretty clean and had a geat view. The hotel is under renovations and we had some problems with the plumbing, but for $40 a night it was within reason. I think if they finish the remodel it will be a very nice hotel. More
